Ingredients

⦁ 4 eggs
⦁ 2 cups (16 oz) ricotta cheese
⦁ 1 cup honey
⦁ ½ tsp cinnamon
⦁ 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
⦁ 1 tsp lemon juice (optional:           add an extra tablespoon for a     tangier flavor)
⦁ 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)
⦁ Cinnamon for sprinkling 

Preparation

1. Prepare the Mixture: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly beat the eggs in a large mixing bowl. Add ricotta cheese, honey, cinnamon, flour, and lemon juice, then beat for about 3 minutes until smooth and creamy.

2. Grease the Pan: Rub the butter onto a 9-inch pie pan, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.

3. Bake the Pie: Place the pie pan on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 1 hour, or until the surface cracks and puffs up slightly.

4. Add the Finishing Touches: Remove the pie from the oven and sprinkle the top generously with cinnamon. Let it cool to room temperature.
